THE Republic of Fiji Military Forces along with the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces today gathered at the FMF Gymnasium to attend a Easter Church Service.
In welcoming the Australian and New Zealand army personnel, RFMF chief of staff Colonel Litea Seruiratu thanked the foreign personnel for their assistance in providing response to Tropical Cyclone Winston.
“It is an honour and a privilege for the Australian Defence Force to be a part of this service, it’s only appropriate that we acknowledge your assistance,” Colonel Seruiratu said.
“It’s important for us to observe Easter week, but equally important to share a short break with those who have been deployed across the Fiji islands.”
