Observing features of the Nepal Constitution, Karat said it has enunciated fundamental rights of citizens which are more wide-ranging than those provided vis-a-vis in Indian Constitution.
The constitution was adopted against the backdrop of violence, as the country’s southern plains remained crippled under over a month of strikes, in which about 40 people have already been killed.
