The tragic demise of legendary actor Omar Sharif has left many in grief including Hollywood and Bollywood stars. Celebrities like Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, Antonio Banderas, Josh Gad and Randeep Hooda took to Twitter to mourn the death of Egyptian-born actor Omar Sharif. While some remembered him as a “true gentleman”, there are others who called him the “towering personality.”
Sharif , who came into the limelight with his role in David Lean’s “Lawrence of Arabia” and the lead role in “Doctor Zhivago”, died of a cardiac arrest on Friday in Cairo, Egypt, aged 83.
Remembering his unmatched journey in the entertainment industry, many Bollywood celebrities took to micro-blogging site Twitter to offer condolence on his death.
