Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not just shines every year at the Cannes Film Festival, but also has an old association with AmfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala. The diva, who charmed at the Cannes red carpet quite a few times this year, chose a soft violet gown for the AmfAR function. Looking absolutely gorgeous in the off-shoulder gown by Elie Saab complimented with minimum jewellery, Aishwarya made India proud as she addressed the guests, being one of the event chairs of the evening amid Eva Longoria, Michelle Rodriguez, Rita Ora, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kendall Jenner.
Interestingly, hubby Abhishek Bachchan cheered his ladylove on Twitter with his tweet, “Unfortunately due to work commitments I can’t attend the AMFAR gala today. But the better half is there to represent.” [sic]

After walking the red carpet a couple of times at the Cannes International Film Festival, the doting mother took time out to take her daughter on a fun ride near Hotel Martinez. Dressed in a black Salvatore Ferragamo dress and wedge heels, Aishwarya also posed for selfies besides enjoying ice-cream with her little girl.
