Victorian Govt asks applications from Nepalese for govt boards

vicVictorian Government has asked applications from Nepalese to fulfill the various vacancies on government boards and committees.

The government has urged interested individuals from the Nepalese community who wish to be considered for a position on Victorian Government boards or committees to submit their CV outlining their key achievements, skills and strategic strengths.

These positions are predominantly voluntary and may require high level of expertise.

A “Facilitation Team” is also formed to assist the application process.

The team consists of the President of Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV), State Coordinator NRN Victoria, two independent members and Consulate General Mr Chandra Yonzon.

After the selecting of the applicants’ interest along with current CV, this team will forward the names of appropriate candidates to the Victorian Government.

The names of nominated candidates by the Facilitation Team will be registered in the government database of intellectual and achievers from the multicultural communities.
