sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Two Australian entrepreneurs are spending millions of dollars acquiring the assets of south-east Asia&#8217;s car-selling websites, aiming to transform them into\u00a0&#8220;the Carsales of Asia&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>KSK Private Equity founder Rael Ross and web design business\u00a0Light Media co-founder Renato Dayan\u00a0have joined forces to buy the leading car and bike sales website in the Philippines, Tsikot,\u00a0through their company\u00a0Now Web Solutions, which is headquartered in Singapore\u00a0but operated from Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p>The terms of the deal were not\u00a0disclosed\u00a0but\u00a0MIH, the\u00a0majority owner\u00a0of Philippines-based eBay-like\u00a0site\u00a0OLX, had previously been unsuccessful in an\u00a0attempt\u00a0to acquire Tsikot for about $3 million in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ross said the duo had experience in classifieds and a passion for the automotive industry, and were looking to take
